The Trilogy is designed to go beyond cinematic drama and experience, reaching through time to actually change the future in real life. They will generate investment in grower communities across Asia, Africa & Latin America and touch the lives of billions of people, building dynamic new relationships, opportunities and infrastructure, and dismantling the mental trade barriers that divide us all.

Host Universal has pioneered, challenged and championed Fair Trade communications for 17 years and goes beyond a label to represent artisans and growers and supporters personally. You don’t have to be big to drive change. But, while people now embrace Fair Trade, not nearly enough is changing, in fact the situation is deteriorating and it’s time to change the script.

We’re developing the three movies, set in remote parts of the world, and each one will impact people and the environment in a radically new way. The narrative of each film focuses on the heroes and heroines who live in this hell, people who, through character, energy and resolve fight to make it heaven. Plotted from the real economic, social and statistical evidence of today, each film depicts the future, 10, 20, 30 years hence with consequences that will scroll their way into the next millennia – tragic or transformed.
